David and Amanda have been around the baseball and softball world since their own childhoods. Amanda attended the University of Dallas for two years and finished her career at Howard Payne University playing both college basketball and softball.
While in college, she was a two time All- American, All Region, conference New Comer of the

While in college, she was a two time All- American, All Region, conference New Comer of the Year, First Team All-Conference, and led the nation in 2003 in triples hit in a season in NCAA Division III softball. David was a local standout at Bangs High School and then played in college at Howard Payne University.

Both Amanda and David serve as commissioners for USA softball and coach several area youth teams and travel teams. They have a passion for softball and baseball and desire to use their passion to help players achieve their own success. The Sheffield’s have been married almost 10 years and love spending time with their 3 children: Corinne, Scout, and Hap.
